In this seminar, I will present the process of conducting an evidence synthesis, using EPPI methods, that investigated the international literature on services for children and young people (CYP) in a mental health crisis. We will look at the findings of this review, identifying those services where evidence was good, either on acceptability or effectiveness. The seminar will allow for an exploration of how and when we as individual nurses might connect with crisis services for CYP and how we might locate an appropriate service in our locality.
